Education

About the Schools

Broad spectrums of educational opportunities are available to people of all ages. Private and public schools take great pride in educating and making sure that all children are treated equally in the standards set-forth by New York State. There are ten public school districts within Chenango County with a total enrollment of 12,400, comprised of small-to-medium sized schools. These schools are small enough to provide a caring environment and individual attention to each student. Several private schools provide additional educational alternatives and small classroom environments.
